Sketchy Christian: Putting God First

Do you include God in every part of your life or only in some areas? Do you seek Him only when it’s convenient for you and your schedule? Is He only allowed to be with you on a Sunday morning at church?

Throughout the Bible, scripture tells us that we need to put God first in everything that we do and we will be blessed beyond our measure. Here are a few verses to check out:

• in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:6

• But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33

• Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ – Matthew 22:37

Invite and include the Lord into every corner of your life. Seek His counsel and involve Him with every single thing that you do. Put God first before everything.
