How often do you get distracted by life’s nagging issues? It is very easy to fall into the traps of the enemy and the devil will do what he can to divert your heart.

When Jesus called on Peter, the disciple quickly went from faithfully walking on water to sinking into the churning sea of doubt. Peter became troubled with what was going on around him and it caused him to take his attention off of the Lord. Check out the following scripture for more details:

“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” – Matthew 14:29-30

Don’t focus on your problems. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and you will truly receive His freedom.
