Inspired by the Lord, this fun Christmas yard project started with a rough sketch and ended up a masterpiece! Check out the photos below to see the steps of making a custom nativity scene and see the build process of this unique manger set.

1. Sketching out the vision..
2. Going digital with crisp lines and final design tweaks…
3. Final artwork ready for projection transfer…
4. Projection of design onto sheet of plywood…
5. Smoothly tracing around each edge…
6. Tediously cutting shapes out of the plywood…
7. A quick mock set up to admire the work in progress…
8. Rolling on the paint for some weatherproofing…
9. Another brief set up to see if everything looks good together…
(after this stage was the creation of the plastic, gold crown and installation of u-clamps along with metal pipes to anchor pieces into the ground…sorry, no photos were taken at those times)
