The news can make it feel like the world is falling apart. Wars, threats, and fear seem to fill the screen, and it can begin to feel like all hope is lost.
But for those who know Jesus, the story is different.
While the world may say, “we are doomed,” the gospel says, “we are saved.”
Our hope is not in world peace or human power. Our hope is in Jesus. Through Him we are saved, and He gives us eternal life.
How do you respond to this good news?
- The Bible teaches that salvation comes when a person turns to Jesus in faith.
- Admit your sins to God and turn away from them.
- Believe that Jesus died and rose again so you could be forgiven.
- Place your faith in Him as Lord and Savior.
- Choose to follow Him instead of the world.
Do not let fear control your heart. Look to Jesus.
