“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
These words were spoken to God’s people while they were living in exile in Babylon. They were far from home and going through a difficult time, but God reminded them that He was still there. He told them that if they truly sought Him, they would find Him.
Seeking God with all our heart means making Him more than an afterthought. It means turning to Him in prayer, spending time in His Word, trusting Him when we don’t understand what He’s doing, and putting our faith in Him even when life doesn’t go the way we hoped.
God isn’t hiding from us. He wants us to come to Him. But we shouldn’t wait until everything falls apart to start seeking Him. Seek Him now, while you have the opportunity.
