We often face trials in life and God faithfully brings us through them. The comfort and wisdom that we gain through those victorious situations are to help others that are experiencing the same challenges.
The Lord asks us to have compassion on those that may be dealing with a sickness, a loss, or just not having a good day. Wrap them in the love, encouragement and promises of God like a warm, fluffy comforter fresh out of the dryer on a cold, rainy day.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
