While respectful discussion is encouraged, the Bible discourages arguing among Christians. It can create division and anger, the opposite of the love and unity God desires for his followers. Arguments often focus on being “right” rather than seeking truth or understanding another’s perspective. When disagreements arise, focusing on kindness and gentleness, as in 2 Timothy 2:24, can lead to a more Christ-like approach.
