Paul said something pretty bold in 1 Corinthians 11:1: “And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.”
Think about that for a minute. Paul was saying, “Look at my life and follow my example as I follow Jesus.”
That’s a BOLD statement! Paul wasn’t saying he was perfect, but he was saying that his life should point people toward Christ.
Jesus is the perfect example. Paul followed Him, and we are called to do the same. We may not have it all together, and we’re definitely not perfect, but our lives should still point people to Jesus.
