Most of us put clothes on every single day. In fact, if we didn’t get dressed, we would feel quite uncomfortable and exposed. In addition to Paul teaching about wearing the full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), he also suggests to “put on” and “clothe” ourselves with some other important things.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. – Colossians 3:12-14
Just as often as you get dressed, pray about the things that Paul suggests and wear them in addition to your armor!
